Trump aimed to use the National Guard as a temporary solution to border security until his wall is competed. This decision was also made by the former presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama. The plan succeeded a considerable amount in catching illegal immigrants and drug smugglers trying to cross the border in the past.       I chose this article because border control has been a large topic of interest in recent news. Who inspires you?

      I believe that I take after my father in many ways because he is always a great role model. He works so hard and gives so much for our family, and he is always kind to everyone. I feel as if I should strive to become like him. I feel like I got a head start in becoming the best person I can just because I am his son.       I want to work my hardest everyday so I can give back to him. I want to push myself toward success so I can relieve my dad of his hard work and show him that it wasn't for nothing. He sacrifices and works so much, and I want to take away his burden by becoming successful. I want to provide for my family in his place in the future.

The Firm by John Grisham

      The Firm by John Grisham was a great book. I read it as my first out of two free to choose books. It took me a long time to read because it was above my reading level. Although it took a super long time to read it was a exiting and suspenseful book. It was about a person who came from a poor family and worked very hard in law school. He got a couple of good offers but an amazing offer from a firm in Memphis.       The offer was a little too good to be true from such a small firm and Mitch (the lawyer) gets into some trouble with the FBI. You have to read the book to find out how Mitch gets out of this scenario. I would recommend this book to my friends and the Firm is a fantastic long term book to read.
