Poem

Early in the morning,
up before the light.
And up after too,
long past midnight.

The working man worked
with will and resolve.
Not for himself,
But the ones that are his all.

The work of others,
sometimes left unknown.
Pushes people forward
in the life of their own.

Alliteration, End Rhyme, Assonance, Cacophony, Euphony.

  1. I liked this a lot! I enjoyed the line about the man not working for himself, but rather for those he loved. Good job!
