      The Firm by John Grisham was a great book. I read it as my first out of two free to choose books. It took me a long time to read because it was above my reading level. Although it took a super long time to read it was a exiting and suspenseful book. It was about a person who came from a poor family and worked very hard in law school. He got a couple of good offers but an amazing offer from a firm in Memphis.       The offer was a little too good to be true from such a small firm and Mitch (the lawyer) gets into some trouble with the FBI. You have to read the book to find out how Mitch gets out of this scenario. I would recommend this book to my friends and the Firm is a fantastic long term book to read.

      During the summer my friend Matthew invited Cason and me to the beach. We stayed in a place called the Caribe and they had three pools and a lazy river. We spent a lot of time messing around in the lazy river and had fun just floating around. We stayed out there for hours and even at night (when we made a giant stack with all the tubes but that is another story). After we had a lot of fun we went to bed ready for the next day.       The next day I had a giant sunburn all over my shoulders when I woke up. You could put your hand an inch away from my skin and feel the heat radiating off of it.  I forgot to put on sunscreen and would soon regret it in a few days. I will never forget to put on sunscreen again because of the terrible sunburn I got during the summer.

     Hello and welcome to my blog. This blog will be for my fifteen minute blog assignments. My name is JC and I like to write in spurts and not a long boring assignments. These fifteen minute blog writings will be good for me and more fun then giant essays. I like to play sport and am playing football, basketball, and baseball. My favorite subject is math and English is up their too (unless it is the essays I talked about earlier).      After school I usually am doing a sport or homework but also try to get as much sleep as I can. I also play video games on the weekends and hang around the house. My favorite food is hamburgers but Mexican food is also up their. My favorite drinks are Dr. Pepper and Root Beer. This was just a couple things about me and a introduction to my blog.

     Theodore Boone the Accused was a casual and fun book to read. After reading my harder book, The Firm, Theodore Boone was a nice break book and it was really attention grabbing. It was about an eighth grade student who was a nice kid. After somebody broke into his locker and slashed his bike tire several times, he knew somebody didn't like him. There was a robbery at the computer store and he was framed for it. You have to figure out who it is with Theo before he gets put in jail.      I would highly recommend people to read this in their free time because it is not to hard to read and a interesting mystery. I liked the way the book had me thinking with Theo and had me trying my best to solve the mystery. It keeps you wondering what was going to happen until the very end. I loved this book and hope you will too.
